We understand that our guests may be traveling from different parts of the world, so we leave international airfare flexible for you to choose the most convenient and cost- effective option.
However, we're happy to assist you with flight recommendations or planning tips if needed.
3. Do I need a visa to travel to India?
Yes, you will need to arrange your visa before traveling to India. Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date and has at least two blank pages.
Most travelers can apply for an e-Visa easily online through the official website:
indianvisaonline.gov.in.
We recommend applying at least 2-3 weeks before your trip to ensure smooth
processing.
4. Do I need to take out travel insurance?
Yes, travel insurance is mandatory for all our guests. It's essential to protect you in case of illness, injury, lost baggage, delays, or other unexpected situations during your trip.
We'll ask for a copy of your travel insurance policy when you make your final payment. It's a simple step that ensures peace of mind throughout your journey.
5. What are the rooming options?
We offer flexible rooming options to suit your travel style:
Traveling with a friend? Share a room at no extra cost (twin-share).
Prefer your own space? You can opt for a private room by paying the single supplement.
Traveling solo? We'll do our best to match you with another solo traveler of the same gender-if both parties agree.
6. Who is our tour leader and what is their role?
Your tour leader will be Larisa, the founder of Sanskriti Voyage. She will be with you
throughout the journey to ensure everything runs smoothly, help with logistics, and make sure everyone is enjoying the experience. Larisa is passionate about India and dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere-she'll be there to support you, answer questions, and make sure you feel comfortable, cared for, and connected every step of the way.
7. How do we travel between cities during the tour?
We travel in private, air-conditioned vehicles—either a comfortable car or a WiFi- equipped minibus, depending on the group size.
Most journeys are between 2 to 6 hours, and we make sure they're part of the experience: we'll stop to stretch, enjoy scenic views, sip chai at local stalls, and capture spontaneous moments along the way. Your comfort and enjoyment are always a priority.
